“10 Minutes Closer to Freedom”

In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I share some of the things I learned during my recent trip to Burns, Oregon, along with some personal thoughts and insights.

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to speak in Burns, Oregon. I talked about unconstitutional federal actions and how to stop them. The folks in Burns have an intimate knowledge of federal overreach. They bear the brunt of the federal government’s unconstitutional land management policies and it’s been going on for years.

In truth, I think I learned as much from the people in Burns as they did from me. Most significantly, I became acutely aware that we don’t know nearly as much about things as we think we do by reading mainstream news reports and social media chatter. Things in Burns are much more complex and nuanced than most realize.

In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I share just a few insights I had during my trip to Burns, particularly relating to localism and the failure of central planning.
