I don’t find the issue of Syrian refugees nearly as cut and dry as it seems most Americans on the Internet do.

It’s not unreasonable to have concerns about allowing thousands of Syrian refugees into the U.S., considering the very real threat that terrorists could sneak in among them.

The fact that some people entertain such fears doesn’t make them racists, hateful or mean-spirited.

It is also not unreasonable to set aside those fears in the name of compassion and mercy.
