“10 Minutes Closer to Freedom”

In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I highlight some economics lessons we can learn from the Pilgrims.

A Facebook exchange earlier this week reignited an ongoing frustration of mine – how few people possess even a rudimentary grasp on basic economics –  or if they do, they chose to ignore it.

The exchange centered around Obamacare and an article I posted describing its slow but inevitable collapse. My friend chose to ignore the economic realities and focus only on one positive result of the Affordable Care Act.

When we fail to understand and take into account basic economic principles, we make all kinds of horrible political mistakes.

In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I share some valuable economics lessons we can learn from Thanksgiving and the experience of the Pilgrims.
