According to gatekeeper of acceptable opinion Nina Burleigh, of the people you know, I’m probably the one most likely to blow up a building.
Why?
Because I distrust the federal government and hold the extremist view that it should be limited.
Nina thinks my views mirror those of Timothy McVeigh’s, ergo my latent homicidal tendencies. Nina knows approved opinion, and mine doesn’t count! I must be criminal.
At first I was offended, but I realized Nina is probably right. I shouldn’t distrust the federal government.
After all, it’s not like it ever perpetrated genocide, or enforced slavery, or caged people because of their ethnicity, or sprayed chemicals on poor neighborhoods as an experiment, or droned anybody without due process, or violated anybody’s privacy, or incinerated some 200,000 people with nuclear weapons.
Clearly, I’m irrational.
