“10 Minutes Closer to Freedom”

In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I talk about two seemingly unrelated topics that share a common theme – government meddling at home and around the world keeping us from having nice things.

At first glance, it might seem like Elizabeth Warren’s economic views and America’s drone war share little in common. But actually, the same impulse drives them both  – politicians’ obsession with intervening in everything, both domestically and abroad.

In this episode of Thoughts from Maharrey Head, I share some of my thoughts about war and my visceral reaction to an article about all of the innocent people killed in drone strike. I also delve into Elizabeth Warren’s recent statements about the so-called “gig economy.” In the end, I tie these two disparate themes together and draw the only logical conclusion – there government busybodies are the reason we can’t have nice things.
